Oak Library Table with Leather Top

$525.00

Library tables have been increasingly popular since the laptop generation has come about.  These tables are perfect for the center of a room because they are beautiful from all sides.  This particular table is oak with lovely details like cabriole legs, carved molding and a leather top.  The table is in good condition and the leather top has aged well but has been used in its life and is not perfect.  A gorgeous piece with lots of character and charm.

Pair of Balloon Back Walnut Chairs

$105.00

Here we have a pair of balloon back chairs that are made of walnut.  They are sturdy but the seats need some work.  They are useable but have a few cosmetic flaws.   A great pair for the price!

Victorian Cylinder Desk

$1,675.00

This desk is a nice example of a Victorian cylinder desk.  The wood is walnut and is good condition.  The cylinder top lifts to reveal a desk with a felt top, burl front drawers and cubbies to store your things.  It would make an excellent desk for a notebook computer area.  The lower part of the desk has three drawers and a door that when it is open reveals vertical dividers for folders or books.  All the hardware is period and could be original to the desk although we can not say for sure.

Satin Wood Chair

$175.00

Here we have a lovely early American chair with a wonderful inlay in the back.  The seat is needle point and most likely not original to the chair, but suits it nicely.  Notice the beautiful front legs and detail in the over grace of this side chair.

Vintage Marble Chip Venus Statue

$160.00

This statue I believe is marble chip, meaning crushed marble melded together to form this solid style of statue.  This particular piece represents the Venus de Milo.  I think it is from the mid 1900’s.  It is in good shape with only a little handling smudges here and there.

Small Queen Anne Chest

$375.00

Here we have a 1920’s version of a 2 over 2 Queen Anne dresser or chest with a twist,  the top drawer that looks like 2 drawers is really only one.  Inside each drawer is a cedar lining, which makes me think that it was used for special personal items.  I like it as a small TV stand in a bedroom or a printer stand in an office, dignified but useable!

Italian Marble Bust – Female

SOLD

A classical female figure is the subject for this hand carved marble bust.  The coloring is amazing; white marble for her face and hair, rose marble for bodice, and grey for the pedestal.  The piece is solid marble and very heavy.  Please excuse the first photo that was taken through a window.  She measures 24” tall and 13” wide at the shoulders.

Amethyst Glass Urns – Pair

$200.00

This is a matching pair of amethyst glass urns.  They are about 12’ tall.  There are a few chips inside where the lids sit and not visible when the lids are in place.  There is faded silver detail painted on both urns.  It is hard to see but adds a nice patina to this old pair.

Oriental Ginger Jar

$75.00

This is a nice accent piece that I could not resist. The painted subject is so lovely with butterflies and flowers. The main color is peach with lot of greens and blues. I have no idea how old it is. It is in good condition with no chips or breaks.

American China or Curio Cabinet

$1,175.00

This is my favorite piece of furniture in our inventory.  It has a three piece mirrored top with fancy carvings that surround each mirror.  The top of the display has two arched pieces that are nicely carved on each side, no detail was spared.  The glass doors on the front are bowed and original to the piece.  I can tell because if you run your hand along them they are extremely wavy and wonderful.  The glass shelf inside is not original.  The feet are delicate claw type with cabriole legs.  There has been one repair to the front right leg. It was done a long time ago.

Parlor Table

$95.00

This is a traditional parlor table.  It is has been painted a dark brown color.  It has four legs and is incredibility sturdy.  It would make a sensational bed side table for a guest room.  A nice lace doily and pretty lamp would really dress it up.

French Gilded Console Table with Marble Top

$225.00

This ornate table is a perfect example of a French console table.  The structure is wood with a gilded gesso type finish.  The marble top is black and looks superb with the gold base.  The table mounts to the wall with screws and the two legs support the front of the table and hold it steady.  I love this table in a hall or and entry way.  This table is not terribly old but certainly stands up to the prestigious reputations these little tables have.

Spinning Wheel Rocking Chair

$750.00 * This items is not included in any sale

This is a full size rocking chair.  The back has been made from an old spinning wheel.  The chair is very solid and has a brown and gold paint. It had belonged to the same person for a good many years, as you can see where the same person sat by the wear in the paint. We suspect that the chair is hand made.  It is very unique in idea and design.
