4 Piece Renaissance Revival Parlor Set
*Email for Pricing or Additional Photos It is hard to find words for this exquisite four piece parlor set. All four pieces are matching and are in near perfect condition. They are circa 1850 and the only flaw I can find is a small split in the top of the table. All the carvings are in tact and in great condition. The settee and chairs have been reupholstered I would say in the 1920's. One chair has a spring that is broken through the bottom. The carvings are elaborate featuring a cherub, lion, winged dragons, and one gargoyle looking creature on the bottom of the settee. The table is a trestle style with the matching cherub on the bottom. The top is carved with a complimentary design. Please email us with any questions or request.

Set of Six Mission Style Oak Chairs $675.00 These chairs are in great shape for six pieces of furniture that might have been used everyday and are around 100 years old. All the chairs are tight and very sitable. The seats do need an upholstery update in my humble opinion, but they are lift out seats and would be very easy to do. They are solid oak and have four piece stretchers on the bottom and a center three slat back design. Great chairs for a great price!

French Bookcase with Doors $550.00 This unusual piece of furniture could have many purposes. It has great display space with the glass shelf and doors. The doors can also be removed for open display space. The carvings in the lower doors are coat of arms motif with some floral impressions. There is good storage in the bottom doors. The top is lined with pink silk and light green trim, this could be changed if you are inclined to do so. It would complement a china pattern that has pink in quite well.

Set of 6 French Balloon Back Chairs $1,250.00 - Sale $1,000.00 This set of French chairs will wow you in person! They are all in superb condition and very sturdy. The seats are old brown leather with nail studs around the edge. I would contemplate having them recovered but could also very easily be used the way they are it would be a preference only because again they are very usable. They are simple with lightly carved backs and cabriole legs. They are from the 1920’s and I would suspect that they were used as bistro or café chairs. They are really a beautiful and could ship easily via Greyhound Express.

Oak Deco Table SOLD This large table is very functional and really beautiful. It has a simplistic style, but also is full of detail. The side is skirted with rib carvings and the legs are fluted with a ball top. Each end of this table pulls out to allow a large leaf on each end, however we do not have the leaves. They could be made quite easily, I think. The top has a nice patina and has been used gently throughout its life. The table measures 55” long and 42”wide.

Set of Two American Balloon Back Chairs $360.00 - Sale $300.00 Here we have a set of two balloon back parlor chairs. These chairs are just gorgeous with fret work in the backs and elegant turned legs. The back legs are beautifully tapered to give them a very delicate look from behind. The seats are currently upholstered in a brown velvet, but with the style of the seat I can tell you that they would be snap to recover in your choice of fabric. They are both very sturdy and could be used on a daily basis confidently. One chair has a small cosmetic flaw on the top side of the back, you can see it in the photos below. Overall they are an outstanding set that scream elegance and dignity.

Liegeoise, French China Hutch SOLD This solid golden oak china hutch is a showstopper! Made for functionality as well a beauty, this piece has three large doors that open with a key (we have the key) to reveal shelves and three drawers along the bottom with original brass pulls. The bottom line, lost of storage. The only glass is in the center door which is covered in gorgeous carved fret work in a pattern I have never seen before. The style of this furniture, Liegeoise, which refers to the city that it was made in France. The top carving, which is richly detailed, gives us this clue. The size of this hutch also is very appealing for those of you with 8’ ceilings in your dinning room. It measures 81” to the top of the crest, 72” at it widest point and 23” at its deepest point. This is truly a one of a kind piece that will fill a room with warmth and beauty.

Étagère
$1,200.00 - Sale $960.00 This large highly decorate Étagère is stunning in person. The detail that was made into this piece of furniture makes it unique and highly desirable. The top is a shield shape with four little shelves surrounding a lovely beveled mirror. At the very top there is a dainty carving in a French style. The bottom has two glass doors with some lovely fret work on the bottom. The doors are open with a pull and small permanent key. Inside the door you will find a mirrored back and brackets for a shelf, however there is no shelf now. The sides on the bottom allow for you display items on two shelves which adds a nice detail for this piece. The piece is not perfect and does show some age but I have to say that is only adds to its beauty. One more quirky thing, the back of the top and bottom are covered with heavy cardboard instead of thin wood. Of course this does not show because it is against the wall but we felt it should be mentioned. All in all this is a unique piece that would display a fine collection of anything and do it justice.

The top of the display has two arched pieces that are nicely carved on each side, no detail was spared. The glass doors on the front are bowed and original to the piece. I can tell because if you run your hand along them they are extremely wavy and wonderful. The glass shelf inside is not original. The feet are delicate claw type with cabriole legs.
